I am all over these chunky heels right now-maybe its because I am 5'1 and love any extra height I can get-whatever it is I am particularly loving them in super soft suede...perfect to transition into Fall(not that I want Summer to end quite yet)! I love to pair super tall heels with skinny jeans or a mini dress (makes my legs look longer)! Here are some of my favorites looks and my platform picks all available here!
Last weekend I had dinner with a friend who had just been in London and she brought back the most gorgeous Anya Hindmarch bag. Honestly, I had never paid much attention to Anya Hindmarch bags before but that was quickly changed! I seriously could not stop staring at my friends bag! Of course I rushed home and wanted to see more of Anya's bags and found so many gorgeous pieces...how amazing are the marano clutches? I love how the bags have a classic feel to them yet the materials make them feel fresh & new.
I love nothing more than a great outfit that looks like it was thrown together in a matter of minutes. Simple basics like denim, white tops, flowing skirts, ballet flats & nude heels are all favorites of mine. And gold jewelry of course! I find that simple & classic outfits mixed with a single trendy item usually work best for me. What are your go to pieces for an effortlessly chic look?
I am so excited to have my very first giveaway! Ever since seeing this gorgeous office space months ago, which has since become my absolute favorite office space (in the first photo) I had been on the search for the brass sculptures displayed on the gorgeous book shelves. A few weeks ago I randomly walked into the great indoors and just as I was leaving empty handed I walked by a bunch of brass sculptures! I seriously couldn't believe it and bought all they had! Needless to say I have more than I need so I would love to give one away! See official entry rules below. P.S. Make sure you check out my post over on Small Shop today!

Happy Monday everyone...hope your weekend was great! How amazing is this painting by Los Angeles artist Lindsay Cowles...you have to check out the gorgeous pieces on her blog. I am completely inspired by this piece and loving the blue & pink mix...with what looks like a little metallic thrown in. The blue & pink combo is obviously great for interiors but I love it for fashion looks as well. And particularly love the combination when its a deep navy paired with either a light or bright pink and of course..some metallic mixed in!! What do you think?
I have been collecting images of these gorgeously styled white bookcases on my pinterest for a while now and last night the bf and I finally made the trip to ikea to purchase this inexpensive solution. What I really wanted was something like this or this...but a white expedit is what I had to work with (shown at the bottom)! Still have a little more to do to glam up my bookcase but its a start...not sure how I feel about that lamp with everything and I plan to hang the painting and maybe make a gallery wall? But I am happy to finally have a place to stash my things! What do you think?
With my best friend in Europe right now I cant help but daydream about a European vacation...Paris in particular! I can just imagine walking the streets of Paris at night, enjoying fabulous dinners under the twinkling lights and lounging at wonderful cafes & shopping during the day. How about a trip to Nice while Im there to soak up the sun! Or not...I can dream though :) And no trip to Paris would be complete without a visit (or two) to Laduree? Here are some Paris shots and Paris inspired images for daydreaming!
How fun is gold flatware? It really adds so much to a table setting...don't you think? And in my opinion, it doesn't have to be reserved for fancy occasions only. I love the contrast of the shiny gold with the distressed wood as much as I love how the gold flatware dresses up a table for a special occasion! Gold & shiny...I am SO in! Do you want gold flatware as much as I do?
